SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS
Criminal Justice Diversion Program
Cheyenne Center offers sentencing alternatives for individuals facing incarceration
for drug and alcohol offenses. Prior to sentencing, . Once a client is accepted into treatment, our staff remains
in contact with judges, attorneys, and probation officers throughout treatment,
submitting progress reports as directed by court officials. Cheyenne Center
also has a Therapeutic Community program for individual ordered to complete
treatment as a condition of their release from prison.
Dual Diagnosis Program
Cheyenne Center recognizes that overcoming chemical dependency poses a special
challenge to individuals who are dually diagnosed. Clients with a history
of dual diagnosis such as major depression, Bi-polar Disorder, Post-Traumatic
Stress Disorder, or ADHD, along with a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency,
can be helped. Cheyenne Center’s Dual Recovery Program supplements
traditional chemical dependency treatment with specialized process groups
aimed at the unique needs of these clients.
Recovering Professional Program
The Recovering Professionals’ Program is a specialized program designed
for those individuals whose profession requires licensure or certification
and are put in jeopardy through continued chemical abuse. Recovering professionals
are case managed by a therapist who specializes in working with this population.
The Recovering Professionals’ Program case manager advocates for their
clients with professional licensing boards. Cheyenne Center works closely with
referral boards and peer assistance programs in formulating discharge planning
and monitoring.
